Restoring Hope, Rebuilding Dignity
Mission of Hope is an association born from the call of the heart and a response to the deep suffering of people forgotten by the world.
Our mission is to restore hope, rebuild dignity, and support the most vulnerable inhabitants of the Gode region in Ethiopia. Every day we provide material and spiritual assistance, but above all, we work to create lasting change through education, formation, and opportunities for self-reliance.
Our story goes back more than eight years, when Sister Joachim, inspired by the example of St. Mother Teresa, began her mission in Gode. Invited by the local bishop, she dedicated herself to serving the community, especially women and children in dire circumstances. Today, the mission grows thanks to the support of local staff and volunteers from around the world who help change the lives of hundreds of people.
Our Values
- Dignity – We believe that every person deserves respect and the chance to grow.
- Hope – Every act of help builds a new future for the local community.
- Solidarity – We act together, with love and support, so that no one is left alone.
- Education – We invest in children’s education and teacher training, convinced that it is the key to lasting change.
The Mission of Hope team is a diverse group of people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, united by one purpose – the desire to help. Our daily work includes caring for children, organizing weaving workshops for women, developing schools, and supporting local families.
Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and donors, every day we bring hope for a better tomorrow. Every gesture of support helps rebuild lives for those who lack even the most basic means to live with dignity.
Join us and help build a world where hope becomes reality!
